Who I am as an Instructional Designer

Meticulous, reliable, and creative instructional designer with experience designing and developing learning solutions. Uses strong communication and organizational skills to ensure timeliness of work. Pushes to work hard and be the best that they can, to ensure the work gets done correctly and efficiently. Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide effective learning solutions, while displaying professionalism. 

My Process and Approach 

When beginning the design process, I begin by empathizing with the learners and focusing on improving their skills. An analysis will identify performance gaps of the learners, and I address them by coming up with a solution. By utilizing a wide range of adult learning techniques, as well as the ADDIE and SAM models, I am able to better develop the learning deliverables. I utilize a design approach which includes design documents and storyboards, prototyping, SME and stakeholder collaboration, and constant communication to be sure the content is what my clients desire. I deliver results with user-focused learning solutions that are both informative and interactive.
